The American Legion Auxiliary is committed to Education!
The Dewey Lowman Auxiliary 109 is pleased to offer our annual $1000 scholarship to a qualified high school senior who is a child, grandchild, or great-grandchild of a paid member of the Dewey Lowman American Legion Family. This includes direct, adopted, and stepchildren. The applicant should ideally be a Junior Member of the Dewey Lowman Auxiliary Unit 109 or Post 109 Sons of the American Legion Squadron.
NEW IN 2024: APPLICATION IS OPEN TO ALL HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS ATTENDING SCHOOLS LOCATED IN ZIP CODES 21227, 21228 AND 21229 AND WILL BE WEIGHTED AS INDICATED ON APPLICATION.

The application, with all requested materials, must be received by the close of business on Wednesday, April 5, 2025.
Scholarship funds are paid directly to the accredited college or accredited trade/vocational school to which the awardee has committed to attending.
